In addition to its attacks on the homosexual community, Westboro Baptist Church targets Jewish and Catholic congregations, kids involved in theatre productions at high school and college campuses, and now, grieving military families attending the funerals of fallen soldiers. In fact, they have targeted so many communities, it should be easy to outnumber them with our own message.
A group in San Francisco found a powerful way to combat this hate. They made fun of it. Below is a list of WBC's upcoming picketing events. Please, if one of them is happening in your community, bring your absurd, hilarious signs and help distract the media from these guys. If they get lost in the crowds, eventually they will give up.
